I’m Venkata Santhosh Basina, a dedicated software engineer passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex problems. My goal is to design and deliver innovative software solutions that create a meaningful impact.

Since graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of St Andrews, I have co-founded an independent developer collective where I developed full-stack web applications using React, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. Moreover, I enjoy contributing to open-source projects, and I’m currently working towards contributing to Reality AI Lab. These experiences have allowed me to build a strong foundation in designing scalable, efficient solutions and in agile development practices. I am passionate about applying these skills in a formal software engineering role where I can continue to learn, contribute, and grow as part of a collaborative team.

2024 – Current, Open Source Software Developer

Accepted into Reality AI Lab’s open-source contributor program, supporting the development of Marvel AI, an intelligent teaching assistant for educators.

Currently preparing contributions in full-stack development, with a focus on React, Node.js, and Firebase.

Actively collaborating on issue triaging, feature ideation, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Google Cloud tools.

Consansoft

2024 – Current, Lead Developer

Founded Consansoft, an independent developer collective focused on building a network of early-career developers to share and support each other’s professional journey.

This initiative allowed me to deepen my experience in production-grade system design, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps workflows.
